Star Shower Answers the Call for Easy Light Decorations

Is there an easy way to hang up Christmas lights? Not that I’ve found. You need to break out the ladder, the nails, the extension cords, and usually in cold weather to boot. Then you have to take them down a month later. My neighbors expect my house to be lit up in the holidays, and even my own family does now too. I can’t NOT put up lights even if I wanted to! So when I saw the Star Shower As Seen On Tv commercial I thought that this had to be too good to be true. Either it didn’t work as advertised or it simply wasn’t a sufficient alternative to traditional Christmas lights. And as I stated earlier, I hate putting up lights. There was only one option for me this year: I had to see if the Star Shower worked.

I did a little research first. I read some Star Shower Lights reviews and most seemed positive. The major complaint that I saw was that a single Star Shower light either wasn’t bright enough to illuminate a large surface area or that if you lived in an urban area with a lot of surrounding light that the Laser Light projector wasn’t as visible or defined. I live in a suburban area but my neighborhood is not overly lit up. So that problem was not an issue for me. Because I live in a rancher I wanted to make sure that I had sufficient coverage so I bought two Star Shower Laser Lights right from the start. After setting up my lights I do believe that one Laser Light would not have been enough but two worked great. So with those two main complaints addressed is there anything else you need to know about the Star Shower? Read on to find out in my review.

What is the Star Shower?

The product is a laser light show projector that uses holographic lasers to illuminate stars onto any surface. The projector weighs 1.6 pounds, made of plastic, and is powered by an AC adaptor. The Star Shower can be used to cast laser Christmas lights, or it can be used indoors as a fun night light or a laser light show.

Things to Keep in Mind When Buying the Star Shower

  • Fast to set up. Plug it in and place it into the desired position.
  • Covers an adequate surface area. Two projectors may be needed for brighter illumination over a larger surface.
  • The laser light projector is weather resistant. It can withstand reasonable winter weather conditions.
  • Since it is a laser be sure to place the projector so that direct eye contact won’t be made with the actual Star Shower Laser.
  • Your order comes with a stake for outdoor setup.
  • If you live in an urban area ambient lighting may be an issue as your lights might not look as bright.
  • Each order comes with a 30 day money back guarantee (minus shipping and handling).

Where to Buy the Star Shower

The product can be found on different retail websites and in some stores but the best place to buy it is on the Star Shower website. There you can get one Star Shower Laser Light for $39.99 plus $9.99 shipping & handling. You can also choose to get 6 Star Shower Lights for $199.98 and get FREE shipping & handling. These offers come with a 30 day money back guarantee.

The Final Word on the Star Shower

As I said, I read the reviews and the biggest complaint is about adequate brightness. If you are trying to cover a large area you will need to buy more than one Star Shower unit. My home is about 60 feet long. While one projector did cover the area, it wasn’t as bright as I wanted it to be. Two projectors were perfect for my home. Since I don’t have a lot of ambient light competition around my home I can’t attest to the validity of that complaint, but it does make sense. If you live in a well lit area beware.

Other than that I have no complaints about my purchase. I know that some would complain about the price, but with the time it saved me in regards to setting up normal lights the price tag was well worth it. Although my house will have a different look this holiday compared to previous years, I still think it looks festive and fun. And, that’s all that matters.
